Summer in Florida — the snowbirds are long gone, the weather is muggy, but the ocean is usually flat — what better time to have a boat trip. Remember your first boat trip, your first fishing trip, your first intercoastal ride. Here's a chance to offer that experience to special kids.

The boat trip is a partnership of the Association of Marina Iindustries, Discover Boating, Florida Clean Marinas, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and particpating local non-profit orgnaizations,

Where the money goes

All benefiting agencies and programs are properly registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations with the Internal Revenue Service. This fund raiser will spend less than 10% of the proceeds from the event on organizational or administration costs. All monies dispersed to affilated agencies are designated to programs which reflect the same or better ratio. In other words --- This event is run by volunteers. Over 90% of the money collected will go directly to needy families.
